Looks like Kubiak wasn’t the problem here

It definitely helps when you have a good OL though

Seattle also has stout arse defense.

Just clearly an overall good roster.

Kubiak couldn't do much when the Saints offense started losing guys to injuries last year.

there is just no depth to this team.

and that all lays at the old arse feet of that jackass Mickey Loomis.

I felt he was good, but he struggled with adjustments once something was taken away. A lot of that is due to the roster’s lack of depth once people were getting hurt……but that was a problem for him.

I definitely don’t think he was the biggest problem…..but I also think he has learned some lessons and improved…..Seattle is reaping the rewards unfortunately for us. Happy for him though I guess lol

He has an almost entire 2nd string offense about 5-6 games into last year.

I agree, to your point about considering him for the HC vacancy….. I can possibly see that in his future, I just don’t know if he was ready (not sure if Kellen is either TBH). Even he said his personality was like “a wet blanket” last year lol

Kubiak & Moore would have been near equal hires for HC. Its too early to figure out if either would have been good with this much void of talent.

I don't think anyone thought Kubiak was the issue. Timing for him just didn't work out. If we hired 2024 Kubiak in Allen's first year, Saints would have had multiple playoff appearances.
