Is there a big name coach out there to go for a one year deal? Gruden and Payton are friends. Cowher is still out there. Or should we give the reigns over to Carmichael?

If Saban was man enough he'd pull double duty.

Nonsense....Payton is going to be relaying the plays from his living room couch over a cell phone to a ear piece Carmichael will be wearing on the sidelines....gonna win the damn super bowl in spite of this crap. We'll see if all the whiny fan bitches around the league can say the NFL gave the Saints this super bowl too...book it!

I think Carmichael is going to run the offense and Spags will be interim head coach since he has some experience with that.

Correct me if I'm wrong. Didn't he already try and fail as an NFL coach

Dinardo just drove in from Baton Rouge and is staying at the Days Inn on David Drive. Interesting.

I don't think it will be a one year deal. After this, if Benson has any cajones he will clean house and fire all coaches involved in this fiasco.

If he was staying at a Holiday Inn Express, he could pretend to be a football coach.

If Sean Payton were to retire, I think we would have hired Carmichael anyway.

The Brees deal needs to get done quickly...strictly for the purposes of leaning on him even more as a leader/coach to help fill a very big void.

I agree, all the more reason to sign Brees. He can run the offense. Please Saints, no more hits. Sign Brees!!!
