Let's say the saints are only going to extend one of the backs and lets keep it simple in saying the monies would be the same for either running back.

Who you rather keep and obviously who would be the back you'd rather have replaced looking forward beyond this upcoming season.

As much as I appreciate PT, Reggie is uniquely talented. Reggie would be much harder to replace.

Keep Reggie, replace PT.

PT

He's much cheaper and a better RB. He's a legit starting RB, whereas Reggie is a a hybrid 3rd down back/slot/KR/PR.

Plus, I like his personality more than Bush.

I don't get the Reggie hype here- he's not a top 10 player on the team, IMO.

I want a running back who cuts once and hits the holes and stays fairly healthy. My vote Is PT.

Reggie; you can find another PT with that O-line in place.

I hate to say, but PT is much more replaceable than Reggie. I don't want to replace either but Reggie is extraordinarily talented and is just now hitting his prime(25-as is PT).

Reginald.

as much as i love pierre, reggie is THE best decoy/big game weapon in football, and he fits our offense very well. we could get another RB if needed should pierre leave

Reggie. I love Pierre, but like everyone's saying, it would be easier to replace PT than RB.

PT

Thomas reminds me so much of Emmit Smith. I think he's capable of having a great, productive career.

Reggie reminds of Marshal Faulk except he gets paid twice as much and produces half as much.

I'm a "bird in the hand is worth two in the bush" (no pun intended) kind of guy.

Now I'm not a Reggie hater but the way our offense is stacked makes him less valuble IMO. Maybe if we were detroit or st. Louis keep Reggie is a no brainer. It's just clearly obvious that on the field PT has made much more impact than Reggie has. Reggie has shown flash and I do believe this will be his breakout year, but until I see this I have to go PT.
