You want them to spend money wisely and in the same breath spend money to retain a guy whose spot is easily filled

"Spend money", lol. Would cost pennies compared to Fleener.

I'm not even saying he was a priority, but I can't believe our fans only saw him as a 4th RB. I don't agree with shitting on him. As a RB was a top 3 talent for us since I've been a saints fan. Had he not snapped his leg I would definitely be more adamant about keeping him

Hold on for a second Lester. That goes against everything you stand for. A player's stat line is the only way to gauge his talent!

Become his old self?
He has been extremely underwhelming his entire career in the NFL.

Chris Ivory

Ivory just sucked bc you were stuggling to find a starter and he was always starter material here. I believe the injury prone vibe got him booted.

I mean, I understand Cadet and Hightower are probably cheaper options, but Robinson is a better running back than both of them.

The 2 years he was used the most, 12-13, he had a total of 409 carries, 2177 yards, 5.3 YPC. Not underwhelming numbers, especially when in a time share with Fred Jackson. Only had 70 touches last year, I haven't given up on him yet.

The Jets have been watching New Orleans and know Khiry Robinson is the same type of hard runner that Ivory was who they previously got from the Saints. I was hoping the Saints would resign Ivory, but Jacksonville jumped on that. Ivory runs just a lil more vicious than Robinson. His style gets him hurt a lot. But the one thing the Saints have been good at is finding unknown RB's and I'm sure they will again. There are some comin up in this draft or UDFA.
