Because we refused to run until late in the game and gave Kamara only 11 touches.

If we get a rematch with them I like our chances.

We gave up some yards but they didn't torch us. We got stops and we didn't play worth a shite offensively. We gave up on the run and we had a ton of penalties. That won't happen again. Plus, playoffs are different, there's more pressure, Goff, and Wentz, to a degree, will make mistakes.

So with this result the bye is still in play.

yes

But so is not making the playoffs.

Technically yes, but we would have to go 1-3 in our last 4 games...or go 2-2 with both losses coming from Atlanta & Atlanta also winning out.

Assuming the 5 NFC playoff teams (besides the Saints) are...Eagles, Vikings, Rams, Panthers, & Seahawks.

As far as being a good match-up for the Saints (easiest to hardest)imo...Panthers, Seahawks, Rams, Eagles, Vikings. The Seahawks have the most holes, but the Panthers roster just isn't built to contend with the Saints. I'd rather not play the Falcons in the playoffs if the other options are the Panthers & Seahawks.

I get all that guys. Just throwing it out there I think the Rams are another tough one. I also get CSP eats the cheese and try’s pass more when running with who we have should be a better option.

Rams could beat them and pretty sure Dallas gets Zeke back before the end of the year and they could ride him to a win.

As of right now, we're back to only one game out of the 1 seed again.

They were missing:
Olsen
Kalil (C)
Carter

Olsen almost always kills us and they can get a run game going. Still like our chances against them at home, but they're a really hurt team right now.

Yeah imo looking at all the legit potential playoff teams, Carolina is by far the easiest matchup.

If we somehow get a bye and the Panthers squeak by Sea or the Rams or whoever, playing them in the Divisional round all but guarantees us a spot in the NFCCG.

payton will need to pop some vicodin and stay committed to running in the playoffs no matter what. if he does that it helps drew immensely with PA passes. we do not want teams teeing off on us. we have a beastly run game. let's use it and abuse it this playoffs. even oiof we have some 3 and outs and get stopped on some 3rd and shorts. stick with it. keep D honest. if we can keep D fresh and off field and we are healthy we have a shot to beat anybody. I hope okafor's loss does not do us in on the line against run and pass. he was playing well.

Who dat?

But Kalil wouldn't have made jack of a difference and iirc he played the first game.

Olsen, though, would change things a bit. It would stretch us vertically with Olsen and Horizontally with McCaffrey. Being able to key on McCaffrey prettt much allows us to completely shut them down.

Never any real guarantee in the nfl. Hard to beat a team 3 times in the same season, let alone a pretty solid all around team like Carolina. Id almost rather play the Seahawks at home than Carolina.

These NFC playoffs are gonna be awesome (from a neutral perspective). All these teams are fairly evenly matched. No one is head and shoulders above the others

If there was a team we played in the Wildcard round I'd rather it be Seattle or Carolina than Green Bay or Dallas.

But if that's the case idk whether I'd rather us go into Philly and play or Minnesota. Probable Philly. Damn we need a 1 or 2 seed

Actually need the Rams to win. I have faith they'll blow it against Seattle in Seattle

Honestly there is no "god" team this year in either conference. They all have some flaws.

I think Minny is closest to that but even they have slight flaws.

They're an injury at QB or OL away from sucking on offense. Atlanta held them in check today.
