I know our record from playoff past. Im looking at our team from season present.
Loss #1 on the road. Drew gets hurt and we get screwed by a bad ref call. (Could of won that game)
Loss #2 At home. Atlanta comes in makes love to our wife, drinks our beer, kicks our dog and our kids called them dad as they walked out.
Loss #3 Feels like the saints we know. Offense plays lights out. D fence cant stop anything. Gives up big play to lose the game.
At this point maybe we play harder on the road. LETS do this. WHO DAT.

ya one less game is better but the last 5 years every time we came off a buy we played like the bengals and get curb stomped by weak teams. the last thing we need is to face a good team when we are never ready to play after a bye week

Weak argument, and the HFA aspect is key because typically (not every time) the team at home is the better of the 2 teams. That is why they are at home; and why that home/away playoff record is bullshite.
As others have pointed out, while HFA may not be essential to advancing; a 1st round bye is. This team will need an extra week off, and it will be 1 less game to play against a quality opponent (we won't get to play the NFCE in the 1st round).

As long as we get a bye I’m fine. Of course I would want the NFCCG in the dome but if were #2 I’m not scared of Santa Clara
