2021: needed rams to win. They blew a nice lead and lost in OT
2022: needed Vikings to beat packers in week 17 to give saints inside track. Packers won by 24 at Minnesota.
Will something finally go our way this season?

Going our way means we wrap that sh!t up. We don't depend or ask nothing of other teams.

Oh yeah, the proud and mighty Saints' organization that is the definition or excellence in the nfl

We will win, further ruin our draft position, and not make the playoffs.
It’s tradition.

DA will remain coach. 24 will be same result.

I can't remember ever having anything go right for us at the end of the season to get a playoff spot

Sunday will be the final game of the season. I knew that GB game would come into play

I think so. But not because we are any good. I believe that Carolina will beat the Bucs and we'll beat the Falcons win the south. We might even host a playoff game.
The Saints suck but when it comes to football, everyone sees that and that's when what you least expect happens. The talk is Dennis Allen getting fired, Carr sucks etc. This will give the Saints a reason to keep DA around longer.

We were 7-10 last season.

7-9 after week 17. We needed like 3 games (our game included) to go our way with the first being Vikings beat packers in week 17; there was even a game thread here for the pack-Vikings game.. That game ended it... no way to tell, but we probably played more inspired vs panthers to end season if the path was still alive in week 18.

Only thing I can recall going well in regards to playoffs was when the Bears beat the Vikings to lock up #1 overall seed in 2009.
Otherwise any other scoreboard watching for Saints playoffs has been bad.

I mean we were for a decade plus.
Maybe don’t be mediocre as shite with a historically easy schedule. We will likely have things go our way simply to have another shite Allen season next year

Steeler fans are hoping for luck this week. They aren't as historically relevant as us though, so you right

2004: Only one combination of results from about 5 games meant we were out.
That combination happened.

Pretty sure God hates us heathens for calling ourselves Saints

I believe the Rams were involved in that one weren’t they? Jets missed a field goal at the end ?
