I find your source hard to believe...first of all, private businesses (especially restaurants) can serve or refuse service to any person at their sole discretion. Most restaurants and bars actually have this visibly posted so that they can refer to it when needed. It is also common for businesses to have a list of people not to give service to...such as people who write bad checks. There would be no basis by which to "force" any business owner to remove a sign from their business as it is perfectly legal for restaurants to refuse service to any one they wish. There would have to be an existing statute or city code for the mayor to take such action.

He ordered it. I know people on the board in all facets of the Super Bowl committee, from transportation to entertainment to security to Food & Beverage. It's a fact.
It's also against the law.

You can't keep the signs out of my yard Mitch!! Metairie and Kenner are off limits to you as well. What about the airport, the airport access road and Airline Highway ? Does Mitch have any jurisdiction there? If Roger can steal our season, our draft pick, and our money, we sure as hell can tell him just how we feel about it. Occupy Airline! Nancy Pelosi said it was legal!,

Roger Goodell and other top executives will be using the Lakefront airport. They use private planes and wont be mingling with common folk at MSY.

Thanks for letting us know!

Well either you are seriously gullible or your source is an idiot. Mitch doesn't have that kind of authority. He can suggest it to business owners, but he can't force them to take it down.

THey can fly private planes into MSY and use the littel private concourse in the back.

Like I said, I have deep connections to the transportation dept. and can confirm that they will be using Lakefront airport. The Mayor actually ordered another team to clean up Downman Road HAHA

Hey guys everything is gonna be okay. I just had my Sunday cocktail with Big Daddy and he said he was gonna make everyone take the signs down but some jamaican douchebag ruined the surprise on ST...

I have an inside source reporting that New Orleans Mayor Mitch "Big Daddy" Landrieu has ordered a special task force comprised of former SWAT team members for one specific mission: to remove any and all anti- Roger Goodell "propaganda" from city businesses.
He can't do this.

I know it would never happen but it be badass if a resturant or 2 refused Goodell service.

I'm most likely going to the game, I will look like an idiot in front of all the business elite sitting around me when I start going like a fricking idiot when he shows his face. Tell Mitch and his boys to come kick me out the dome if they want.

His argument is that if Goodell is fricked with then the city will never host another Super Bowl.
