In this Brees Game jersey from nflshop.com, you can clearly see the name is outlined.

the knockoff seems to have the stupid looking FDL on the sleeve too. This way an easy giveaway with the tards wearing the old fakes

I know, b/c when I've been drinking & tailgating all day, that's the first thing I worry about when I go to the game is that people will notice that my fleurs look slightly off.

I went back and looked...apparently, the fake I posted was a knockoff of the Elite. The real one I posted was a gameday. Thats why the collars are different widths.

YOU can't tell the difference. MOST people can't tell the difference. That doesn't mean that some people can't tell the difference.
The fact that it takes close inspection means there is virtually no difference, nobody in the superdome is going to walk up to you and start examining your damn jersey. I'm willing to bet money that 99% of the people you encounter would take quick looks and think its real. But you didn't spend $200. But if you wanna fork out the extra cash so you know deep down its "official" be my guest, I'm more than content with these.

I never said anything like what you're saying. All I said is that they aren't the same. There are distinct differences that when you know what they are, they stick out like sore thumbs. You're right, no one in the Dome on gameday is going to say anything. Why would they? I even said that the majority of people can't tell the difference.
I don't want to fork out $200 on a jersey. I like jerseys. And I would buy them if they were reasonably priced. Reebok's were overpriced. And now that Nike has hiked the price up even more, they're way overpriced - especially given that I don't particularly care for the collars on the Nike uniforms.

Considering that if I'm wearing a jersey, that means I'm either having a game party or at a game part and I'm more than likely going to be shitfaced, the chinese knock-offs will more than suffice. And no, they are not the same adn you can easily tell the difference between a cheap knock-off and the real thing.

That's what I do. I usually buy one legit authentic jersey every year, frame it, put it on the saints wall, and then buy a couple of knockoffs for gamedays. If something happens to them, no biggie. It's not like ruining an authentic.
