Key to Saints/Pelicans disaster…..local media is bought and run by owner

It’s basically a communist regime.
Had the owner of two sports teams cozied up with pedophiles in any other city she would have been forced to sell
Had the GM of any other team except a team owned by a owner who doesn’t care about winning, just staying profitable been in any other city the local media would have made it very uncomfortable to suck so bad.
Because nobody with a real voice calls out the owner and GM we are left with two farm teams in professional sports.

I don’t think they’re “bought out” but I think their media access, which pays their bills indirectly, is dependent on them not disparaging the team or ownership. This is unfortunately the case in every market except for New York.

I posted this in another thread, but Gayle has started to lose control of the narrative. There’s been a few local talking heads speaking out that were maybe scared to before.
Moreso around the Pels than the saints, but it’s a start.
