Think this means Cincy will pass on Reuben Foster? I'd love to have Foster as an option when we pick.

The Cincinnati Bengals and free-agent linebacker Kevin Minter have come to terms on a contract for 2017.
ESPN's Josina Anderson was the first to report Minter was signing with the Bengals. Jim Owczarski of the Cincinnati Enquirer confirmed Minter plans to sign with the team.
Minter, 26, spent the last four seasons with the Arizona Cardinals. He recorded 81 tackles and a career-high 3.5 sacks in 2016, starting all 16 games at the inside linebacker spot.
"It was just a lot of learning and growing," Minter said, per Josh Weinfuss of ESPN.com. "Middle linebacker position, you're the quarterback [of the defense], and like any quarterback you got to learn and develop because you pretty much got to know what everybody's doing. You got to know, not only your job, but everybody else's. You got to line everybody up. You got to know all the checks. You got to kind of anticipate what the offense is doing."

I hope not, we don't need or want a selfish deva with over inflated ego like foster here to disrupt the locker room

where's your proof that Foster is a diva? if you're referring to that hospital thing then I'm willing to give him the benefit of the doubt. We've all be in that situation where we've had to wait a long time and the doctors just keep us waiting when we have other things we could be doing

I give him a pass for that. But in my opinion anyone who pulls the "do you know who i am" card, i'm out.

One TD poster actually has Michael Thomas saying this on record in his own place of business. I think we should have let MT13 walk, not Cooks. Well just have to wait and see how he matures I guess.

Foster makes your defense better day one. Get a pass rusher at 32 and we're looking good. If we get Barnett at 11 great but if we go Foster , its definitely not a bad thing. I don't like what happened at the combine but he's going to be on a rookie contract, he knows if he wants to get that big second contract he needs to preform.
He's the best Lb to come out in the Saban era. Hey he might knock himself out the league with the way he hits, but if we win a Super Bowl in the next 2-3 years it'll be worth it.

I saw where a lot of teams have mostly written off the hospital incident; it's not like he's got a history of off-the-field stuff

This is not just because I'm an LSU fan, but I firmly believe that Beckwith is the best ILB in this class.

If your coaching staff can't handle a couple of over-inflated egos in their locker room then you have more problems than just personnel.

If you actually believe this. Then yes it is just because you are an LSU fan

I don't know how Beckwith will come back from that injury. All that being said, I'd love to get a pass rusher and CB with the first two picks and take Cunningham or Jarrad Davis as our LBer.

That you know of.... The high school pic of him sleeping on the desk says different.
That says I have been protected from myself, ala Jamie's Winston protected. The kid can play ball. Josh Gorden can play.....and.... He is never on the field without injury,
Do you take a chance and waste a pick or do you go with equal talent without the BS.

What besides Beckwith's injury makes you say this so unequivocally?

What makes you think that he's "firmly" the best linebacker in this class?
And you can't take away his injury. It happened and is part of his evaluation. He was likely a day 2 guy before his injury too. I do think he will be a good backer, but firmly believing he's the best is ludicrous with guys like Foster, Cunningham, etc in the same draft
