On nfltraderumors, and it has the saints' (now eagles') pick at #11. What am I missing here? #11!!??

First year head coach who was really shitty at his other gig. Jameis at qb coming off bad injury. It’s easy to see how a casual publication could think we’d struggle.

I think what you're missing is that this clickbait aimed at feeding off of NFL fans who are now entering into the phase of the NFL yearly cycle where there won't be much useful chatter until spring camps open up and they can get a little mileage out of utter nonsense just because there isn't anything else.

You fell for it.

You may be missing that Jameis Winston is our QB and he is a career loser that had the Buccaneers picking in the top 13 4/5 years he started for them.

Where does it have Dallas picking since they are going to give it to us for CSP?

That's because they want to beat good teams.

Side note: I just watched a "Way Too Early" mock from last year about this years 2022 draft and the credible mock draft youtuber, "Bengal", had the Saints with the 16th overall pick taking a 6-1, 201 lb, 4.5sp CB from Ohio St ("You know the Saints love taking Ohio St players!") named Sevyn Banks.

I had to look Sevyn up (no pun intended). He didn't enter the draft. Two weeks ago, he transferred from OSU to LSU and will be a senior.

Two questions:
1. Did LSU really just get a 1st Round CB talent in the transfer portal?
2. Would the Saints draft the former Ohio St product or automatically take him off their board bc he's from LSU?

Banks is very talented. Got bit by the injury bug at OSU and got passed on the depth chart.
