I just don't understand how a former player of the team involved, who also played against a huge rival of the Saints, was even allowed to officiate such a game. I don't care how professional you are, that's so absurd.
This is 100% not true. The former Rams player who is an official was not a member of the officiating crew calling this game.

These same officials may not have played for the Rams but two do live in Los Angelos.

I'm pretty sure that alone is not a disqualifier. I'm sure
a lot of officials live in SoCal

I am very much aware from firsthand experience, sir.

Then why are you surprised Nicole Sheppard is a judge, or that she issued a populist ruling to curry favor with potential voters?

No one can deny it was cheating. Cheating for a financial gain gets you prison time in any court.

NFLPA executive director Demaurice Smith - “I know Roger Goodell wanted to be here tonight,” Smith joked to the crowd at the union’s 60th-anniversary gala in 2016. “However, lying, cheating and stealing is a full-time job.”

The refs didn't want it to be that obvious,.... but they had orders, and they knew if they didn't miss that call it was over. So they had to

You were saying?

quote:

When Civil Court Judge Nicole Sheppard ruled attorney Tony LeMon could move forward with his lawsuit, the NFL filed an emergency writ with the Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals to stop it. But, Sheppard denied their request Wednesday afternoon (July 24), which would have prevented Goodell’s deposition.

The call is so bad that a "male performance" clinic references it in their ads in Phoenix.

Pass interference, helmet to helmet, targeting(college only?). All in one.

Lest we forget the PI on the interception in the overtime drive as well.
