Some other intriguing hopefuls are John Brown from Pittsburg St. Nice speed, quick in and out of his cuts and looked to have good focus making his catches. Although I liked Benjamin in the beginning, I think I would much rather Brandon Coleman from Rutgers. Both massive young young men but haven't heard any talk of him going in the first so that might be a better value pick there. Also, dont like Mike Evans at all, didn't impress me in the slightest esp with all the hype for him.

Did anybody get a look at Jeff Janis out of Saginaw St? 6'3 219lbs with a 4.42 40 and a 37.5 inch vert.

Sure did KG .. Very impressive prospect. Looked very athletic for his size. I liked him enough to watch his drills

Been having MAD respect for Matthews ever since this...

...Upon returning, the slightly lighter Matthews immediately did the following on fourth and 18, setting up a touchdown that briefly put the Dores ahead with just over a minute to go:

That's the main game I was judging him on. Just hard not to like him. Big strong and tough. 4.4 and had 112 catches this year. Seems like he's got alot of heart too

Matthews did that for the past 2 years too. Best part about him is hes reliable and clutch. He wants the ball thrown his way in crunch time. And more times than not, he makes the play.

Kids the real deal. People didnt think he would tear up the combine and said he didnt have great speed or athleticism but is a great WR. Well, he proved them wrong. Dudes a beast.

Yeah Matthews has been my guy for awhile. He had great on field production, and tested out well. I do agree that this class is loaded at wr. May not have a Calvin Johnson caliber guy but definitely a group of guys on the level of anquan boldin or Roddy White.

I'm starting to think since this years class has so many wide outs we should just wait and pick up 2 in the later rounds and get Corner and O-Line the first two
Trade down out of the first, get an extra 2nd if possible. Take a WR then.

I predict we sign a CB in free agency; a mid-level guy who can play NOW; a decent experienced guy will be better/safer right away than a high pick who might need to develop (see what we did this past season). Wait and see if Patrick Robinson is able to return this season. Might see a CB in third rd, my guess.
