The #Jets have requested permission to interview #Saints secondary coach Aaron Glenn for their vacant head coaching job, and it should happen next week, source said. An up-and-coming candidate.

Does the 3rd round compensatory pick rule apply to coaches, or just execs?

Both, so the saints could get 4 3rd round picks if someone hires terry and Glenn

I do not see the Jets making a move like this. I like Glenn a lot and could see him getting a DC job.

But I would be shocked if the Jets hire a secondary coach from the Saints to be a HC.

Never underestimate the braintrust at the Jets. They gifted us Kamara, and now maybe they can do us another solid.

Good for him but you never know if this is just the Jets abiding by the Rooney Rule.

I think the Jets are also interviewing Saleh who I assume would qualify for the Rooney rule, so that doesn't seem to be the case here.

Wasn't it rumored in last years
Off season the Jets were interested in Glenn to become their DC. Didn't the Jets originally draft Glenn into the league?

The Jets may have legitimate interest in hiring Glenn as the HC or this just may be a Rooney rule interview..

I love Joe Brady and the magical season he was a part of at LSU, but does he really deserve a head coaching job at this point in his career?

I'd love him in Atlanta for the next 4 years to find out... NOT!
