Moore also fumbles timeouts and situational calls. Who the hell kicks a field goal from the 6 yard line down 30?

Normally I'd agree with you, but in this 1/100 instance he may have had Grupe out there kicking for his job. Moore may have had his mind made up to cut Grupe if he misses that FG there, as opposed to "only" looking at bringing in new Kickers to try out this week.

Redzone has been an issue, both in personnel talent/execution and playcalling, so I'd like to have seen them go for it to work on that. But nobody's job was on the line that 1 play except for Grupe, not even Rattler because to me my mind is made up that Shough needs to be in

They never even got past the Panthers’ 30 yard line. Pretty crazy

Where’s the poster that said the Falcons were going to own us after they drafted Penix?

Passed on Bowers and Odunze for him.

Wrong. Honeymoon will be over if they lose all 3 of these games:

-home Giants
-home Patriots
-away Bears

Atlanta scored 0 at freekin carolina. that shocked me honestly.

Reports said before season started Terry Fontenot is on the hot seat. Arthur not afraid to make changes. Meanwhile are stuck with Mickey Loomis no matter how bad he is today.

Are we to expect this to be the trend for the rest of the year, or where the first 2 weeks more of an indication of who this team is (bad play, but still putting up a fight to the end).

The roster is legitimately bottom 3 bad. I think there are enough late career high character vets to encourage playing hard and I think that’ll show up more at home.

As attrition and losses inevitably take their toll throughout the season, I think you’ll see more business decisions as the season concludes. If a HC in his mid 30s can keep the locker room in a really bad season that’s an amazing sign going forward.

It now makes sense to me the dumb pick of shough doesn’t seem dumb to him because he was a 26 year old rookie himself

I called it in another thread, Loomis will hire him back to be the 5th former gm on the staff
