This staff would have no idea what to do with JD5. They’d frick him up and as a LSU and Saints fan, if this staff is still here, I hope they pass on him.

Everyone acts like a rookie QB cures this team. It doesn’t! JD5 gets killed behind this line. Drafting a rookie QB doesn’t make beat the Eagles or 49ers. It makes you the current Panthers.
Fire Dennis Allen and hire a good coach.
Fix the offensive line.
Find a pass rush.

And people act like they know Daniels will be amazing. They can’t guarantee that. They don’t know. Nobody knows. It’s a lottery ticket. I’m just sick of hearing JD5 will make us a Super Bowl team. It’s not true and it’s exhausting.

You’re fighting an imaginary enemy, then.
I don’t think anyone on this board thinks drafting Jayden Daniels makes us a Super Bowl team. If anything, everyone seems to agree we will suck for years. We just want reason for optimism. Carr provides zero.

JD5 would almost assuredly win ROTY throwing to Shaheed and Olave.
