I'm fine if we sign him.

But that means we should go OL and OL in the first round.

Stud line. Stud receivers . Stud RB.

Some Swiss army knife TE...

Even a defensive minded coach can work with that

We have deonte harty to go over the too. I think adding Landry to the mix will make a good starting 3.

Very good possession receiver, catches more 3rd down passes across the middle than anyone

I want Landry but we need someone to stretch the field. Thomas nor Landry can do that. You need someone with speed. If you sign Landry you go Olave imo. Only way it makes sense

Colston/Moore worked fine, neither were burners. MT can win intermediate to deep routes. He just hasn't had the QB to do it.

love Jarvis but he isn’t the right fit with Thomas. He’s a slot receiver that makes his living over the middle much like Thomas does. He doesn’t have great speed to take the top off the defense and that’s what we need opposite MT13. You are wasting Winston’s huge arm if you don’t have a credible deep threat. I would be calling Will Fuller. If they got him it would free you up to not have to reach for a receiver in the draft when we could use the picks to stock the lines up again.

I agree. It would have to be cheap.

Jameis the great had Goodwin and Evans to throw to in Tampa and he still threw record ints.

He was also one of the league leaders in TD passes, so what’s your point.

and one of only 8 QBs in history to throw for over 5000 yards. But yeah some people are going to hate on him regardless. Because he admittedly had some childish behavior as he was coming up.

Obviously the Saints Front Office disagrees with you if they brought him for a visit. I trust the FO more than some poster on ST

He’s right though. Most dynamic offenses in the nfl have guys that can scare the defense down the field. We’d likely still have the same playoff problems we did at the end of Drew’s career with defenses being able to keep a lot of things in front of them when allowed to play a bit more physical in the postseason.

We also had a second round pick in Devery and a first in meach who despite their faults could get down the field well.

Harty did that last with Winston when there were no good underneath options

We could pick up Landry and Will Fuller and we are still getting a deep threat WR in this draft folks.

They probably want to entertain Jarvis on a one or 2 year deal. This gives us the option to draft Williams and not rush if the other 2 OSU guys are gone.

Also, everyone forgets, when Harris was healthy, or passing offense was much better.

Big picture is if we are going to make the run at it all this year, sign Jarvis.

Deonte Harris is our deep threat. Once MT is back, that will be his roll, stretching the defense.
