Dalton is still the starter but looking like Winston is healthy enough to play if needed.

I would guess rt that when the coach says he is the starter...that will be your starter. Not much else known right now it seems.

No I don't think so. I think they are waiting to see Jameis completely healthy. Andy hasn't separated yet...but if he has a real real good game that can change.

If Dalton isn’t your straight up starter at this point, then the Dennis Allen era in New Orleans will be short.

If they started Winston with most of the WR starters out and he fails... People would come up with excuses.. It's safe to start Dalton and blame him for the lose...

I think it's just that Winston is the emergency QB if needed due to an injury on Dalton. Otherwise they prefer he continues to rest and heal.
Or they are at least using that excuse to ride Dalton as long as possible without having to name Dalton the starter moving forward.

I didn’t think about it last week…but ….as we were using Taysom everywhere except on defense We would have been screwed if he and Dalton got hurt last week.
