It’s time to get rid of the turf

We are constantly one of the most injured teams in the league. If they have to do renovations so they can bring the grass in then do it.
Teams like the cardinals roll their grass in. It’s doable if they really wanted to.

In a survey conducted by NFLPA regarding the use of turf vs. natural grass, nearly 93% of players listed artificial turf as an impediment to their careers, while 91% stated it made them feel more fatigued and sore.

Is that why our coach sucks, our oc sucks, we have no qb and we have soft arse wr’s?

Nah that all sucks too. But we need to get rid of the turf because we have a slew of injuries every year. If we weren’t so banged up every year we probably win at least 1 more Super Bowl.

As a football official, I can agree with this.

And how exactly do we do that in the dome?

So, no turf means no dome. Do we move to Tulane’s yard???

Other indoor stadiums have done it. They bring the grass in each week.

Retractable roofs, not domes.

Those stadiums have fields that roll outside during the week and back in for gameday. Please explain exactly how this is going to happen in the Dome. Houston had big grass trays that they tried and ended up having to put turf down during the season after mangling numerous players lower extremities.

Yeah it’s the Fn grass being used by 85% of football in the country. Go eat a male camels arse

LAs new stadium is turf. Vegas and Arizona are the only dome that have grass.

You’re thinking about 1990s America. School systems have replaced single use grass fields with multi use year round turf fields

Yea that’s not how arizonas grass works

I was just on the field at Allegiant stadium, and it’s turf

When I think of this franchise in terms of injuries over about the past 15-20 years, I think more in terms of S&C than blaming the Field Turf used in the Dome and our indoor facility. We have drafted and signed some “weak” players from an injury standpoint. It seems like once they remotely start to make some sort of impact with the Saints the player finds himself on Team IR and they are never the same.
Nothing to do with our playing surface, just bad luck with certain players.
