It could be worse, we could have paid the price for Russ Wilson

And then given him a superstar QB contract

The whole point of Jameis is that we can get out from him after next year without too much pain.

There really just aren't options at QB

Good NFL QBs don't grow on trees. Also why they made a run at Watson.

Yeah at the end of the day Winston is the best QB on the roster. He had some ups and downs today but he’s our QB. Hoping some of those misses on the deep ball to olave was because of his injury because his deep ball is usually fairly accurate. It’s the intermediate and decision making that has been the criticism in his career.

Russell will be fine, and I think Winston will be ok too. There aren't many things dumber than judging qbs on small samples. There's a very good chance winston isn't gonna be a good qb here in Nola, but he's over 100 rating as a saints' starter, so he should be cut some effin slack

What makes you think that?

He was pretty meh last year and looks bad this year. He has lost his mobility and thinks he's a gunslinger and he never has been.

Not everybody agrees with this.

He had a 103.1 rating last year; his career rating is 101.8, so he had a good year based on his career. Hell, he had a 101.3 rating last week

They don’t have to. But it’s true.

Even very good QBS have hiccup games. Not sure if this is the case for Saints Winston but I'll wat to decide that with a few more games under his belt.
