That seems to be the minimum.

The NFL wants an indefinite suspension of atleast one year. Giving them time to have the final cases litigated and the statue of limitations to end next March.

I could see this year plus eight games.

Who cares? He doesn’t play for the Saints. Let’s move on.

The cap magic used to clear the path for Watson ended up being the best thing to happen this offseason.

Nah. It was a lose/lose situation. Winston is still QB.

What difference does it make? They just make new names and are back immediately.

And he's cheap and basically able to be thrown away at any point. Watson on a huge contract would be a much bigger problem

Any time Watson is on the field the offense is elevated. Same cannot be said for Winston. I'd take a year of Watson being suspended if it meant Jameis got his feelings hurt and went elsewhere and we started Ian f'n Book all year.

Guys want to play with Watson. Like, real dudes, not a washed Jarvis Landry wanting to play with Jameis-type.

Both of whom are still in great situations. I'd argue it's a combination.

Hill declined the Jets trade for a reason. Tua is an ascending QB on a talented offense with an innovative offensive head coach.

Adams will be playing with his college quarterback in what is likely to be the best division in all of the NFL in 2022.

Not just about the money.

So a QB downgrade but still a great situation, as stated.

Stop acting like it's a zero sum game. Did you learn debate on Twitter? LMAO.

See, you ask this knowing that there were no real stud FA WR's this year as some kind of a "gotcha" in the middle of your Jameis circle jerk. I don't deal in hypotheticals.
