Probably so yes, and I believe it would be the right call. His contract is pretty big for a punter, and he's having his worst year as a pro and it went downhill fast for him. Younger, cheaper punter on the roster already seems like the writing is on the wall.

No question he is having a really poor year punting. But, thankfully, he has been his usual mistake free self holding on field goals. Well, except when he gave Lutz the laces on that short miss.

Definitely his last year. Saints have his younger, cheaper replacement on the team and Morestead has had a down year at the worst time.

Think he’s suppose to make over 4 million next year. The rookie punter will make about 600k. So anyone that can do math knows the answer
