Ed Reed is from NO and has never won a SB; you can't cheer against him no matter how you feel about Ray. You shouldn't even be considering the 49ers being Saints fans anyway.

In cheering for a good game, but hope ravens come out on top. I would rather if Jim Harbaugh didn't win a Super Bowl in just his second year.

Flacco has stepped his game up greatly and is the reason they have made it this far. As soon as they let him free in the second half, it was game over for NE

Hmmmmmmm...

Want to cheer for Ed Reed because he's from here.
But he did go to Miami.

49ers are old division rivals.

I don't like Ray Lewis' persona and don't want to cheer it on.

Jim Harbaugh is kind of a dick.

I'd like Flacco to win a Super Bowl because he was drafted after Matt Ryan and that's insult to injury.

I do like the 49ers style of running the ball and playing defense.

Ahhh, I don't care. Just hope it's a good game.

49ers made me happy. I'll pull for them.

Not only can you not forget last year, but don't forget what they did to us in the 80s and 90s. Our all time record against San Fran 21-42-2. Only a situation like yesterday can make me root for a the 49ers.

I haven't forgotten the hate i had for them when they were in our division. Montana to Rice, Young to Rice. It was misearable.

Does Ed Reed winning a super bowl hurt our chances of getting him?

Would really like to see Reed & Flacco get a ring. But I would also like to see Colin Kaepernick take them all the way after earning his way into the starting spot earlier in the year. I'll be happy either way...just want a good game.

i think it'd make him more likely to leave if he wins cause he'd feel like he'd have done it all in Baltimore.

I'm also shocked at the Ray Lewis hate from people

You're too young to remember:

quote:

Following a Super Bowl XXXIV party in Atlanta on January 31, 2000, a fight broke out between Lewis and his companions and another group of people, resulting in the stabbing deaths of Jacinth Baker and Richard Lollar. Lewis and two companions, Reginald Oakley and Joseph Sweeting, were questioned by Atlanta police, and 11 days later the three men were indicted on murder and aggravated-assault charges. The white suit Lewis was wearing the night of the killings has never been found. Fulton County District Attorney Paul Howard alleged the blood-stained suit was dumped in a garbage bin outside a fast food restaurant.

[37] Lewis' attorneys, Don Samuel and Ed Garland, of the Atlanta law firm Garland, Samuel & Loeb, negotiated a plea agreement with Howard, where the murder charges against Lewis were dismissed in exchange for his testimony against Oakley and Sweeting,[38] and his guilty plea to a misdemeanor charge of obstruction of justice.

[12] Lewis admitted he gave a misleading statement to police on the morning after the killings. Superior Court Judge Alice D. Bonner sentenced Lewis to 12 months' probation, the maximum sentence for a first-time offender,[39] and he was fined $250,000 by the NFL, which was believed to be the highest fine levied against an NFL player for an infraction not involving substance abuse.

Oakley and Sweeting were acquitted of the charges in June 2000 on the basis of self-defense. No other suspects have ever been arrested for the crime.

The following year, Lewis was named Super Bowl XXXV MVP. However, the signature phrase "I'm going to Disney World!" was given instead to quarterback Trent Dilfer.

On April 29, 2004, Lewis reached a settlement with four-year-old India Lollar, born months after the death of her father Richard, pre-empting a scheduled civil proceeding. Lewis also reached an undisclosed settlement with Baker's family.

I can relax now that i dont have an emotion investment in the game.

I really dont have a problem with Ray Lewis, a lot of people talk about the murder situation. I wasn't there, its not my job to find evidence against him, if he was never convicted..then that is on the police department.

As much as i loved seeing the 49rs win, it was the wayyyy lesser of two evils. So hell yeah, im on baltimore's side.

I mean some people are really picking a convenient time to be worried about some possible black on black crime.

Then why did he take a plea deal and settle out of court? He paid those families a shite ton of money so it would all go away.
