No news is no news.

They will probably talk numbers after he tours the facility and talks more with Loomis and Ireland. If they’re close he will probably stick around I would think.

If they’re not then he’s off to Nashville

If we get an update that he’s headed to Nashville then our chances are slim to none

Yeah when we finally get news it'll either be great (he is signing) or kind of bad (leaving for Tenn).

There really is nothing else to report. He's still doing meetings and touring the facility and such and that doesn't help decipher anything.

If he sign's I'll be happy, if he doesn't, I could care less. I don't think 31 yo suh is going to be make or break. Just don't overpay is key.

Don’t they run a 3-4? I can’t imagine him wanting to switch to that so late in his career and that should be a notch against them

The only team I’m worried about is the Seahawks since they lost out on Richardson. Plus they’re closer to Oregon, his home state.

They probably are just now in the heat of money talks.

Had the get-to-know you dinner last night.

Then the cordial meet-up-for-breakfast before business starts.

Probably toured the facility. Ran into players. Met more of the administration. Sitting down now for contract talk and the usual volley of numbers.

I think he gets signed. Announcement ETA might depend on how many players have to be called in to agree to a restructure. Will probably have lunch somewhere before it's done.

Curious but I don't think it means anything. Tenn is already well under the cap and this move only saves them $3 mil.

If anything he was a guy that was just underperforming for what they paid him. He only started 11 games and had 20ish tackles with no sacks but was being paid mid grade 16 game starter money.

From what I understand titans had to release Sylvester today before some portion of his bloated contract became guaranteed. Saints are putting in serious work to secure Suh. Hope it pays off.

And I say I worry about the Seahawks but they’ve lost a lot of talent and only have Russell Wilson. They might not even make the playoffs. Miners will be better and the Rams are looking strong

Not sure if they still do, but Mia running a 3-4 and making him the NT was what upset him his first year there. A true 3-4 NT gets less opportunity than a 4-3 NT as they are always doubled because they lineup over center, whereas in a 4-3 you can shift the front to change matchups.

I checked and they do indeed run a 3-4. I’m not really worried about him there. More of a concern with the Hawks

Okay so definitely nothing to do with Suh (but obviously why they want Suh). His base, or a portion of it, was likely to be guaranteed, making him uncuttable later, and he played very poorly last year.
