It's a very slim chance that it happens, but the staff doesn't want to close the door on it completely.

This post made me happy, and obviously I agree with all of it.
It all comes down to turnovers, IMO. That 2009 defense wasn't anywhere near elite, but the opportunistic turnovers it created made us damn near unbeatable.

I think Bobby Hebert hit it right last night when he said this D even with a better pass rush the db's with the exception of Greer has stunk it up in man to man coverage. We will have to hope we can hold them to field goals and make a couple of 3rd down stops. Expect a ton of shootouts with whoever has the ball last will be the winner. That would be a little biit of improvement. Vacaro could be a difference maker. But besides him and Cam no one really knows.

Wanted to be fair and bump this to eat my crow.
D-line was disruptive, sacks were numerous. Vaccaro played alot and played well. Our 2 minute defense is still terrible, but to be fair, the falcons drove down the field like that against almost every team they played last year.
No longer scared of our defense.

Agreed no on wants to give up the Tim Tebow to Demaryius Thomas Playoff miracle pass so it looks like every goes deep zone in last two minutes
