Why are we still wasting carries on Ingram? He has shown time and time again that he isn't the answer, whereas Ivory has shown that he can carry the load. WTH are they waiting for to bring Ivory in and deactivate Ingram?!?!?!

Why would you bench your number 1 RB for your number 4?

They need to just pay them what they want, get the pics, and let them go like they did with Benson/sheep pics that Venturi had for so long.

He is a very consistent and reliable 2-3 yrd back. Deal with it. We dont have anyone better in short yardage situations. And did you see that play action bootleg. The whole frickin D bit on that. That play will come in handy this season. Plus he blocks pretty well.

He has? What's the question?

It wouldnt be a good move to trade you starting RB for a guy on the bench with less experience and unsure hands?

This is very true. He averages 6-9 feet a carry......Consistently!

I know you're being sarcastic. But he is a short yardage back, and he blocks good enough. The guy is a great Rb for a 3rd string short yardage back on a pass heavy team without much help from an oline.

so that's why he was drafted so high? with a first round pick and all?

I hope you are being sarcastic

Ivory has more experience with 216 career rushing att compared to 166 att for Ingram. I understand the blocking part of it, that Ingram may be more suitable - but I'm sure Ivory can catch on.
His fumbling problem, needs to be put to the test not just talked about- like with Matthews,Ridley, etc.

If Ivory looks so bad in practice that he can only be on the active roster for 1 out of the 6 games and not play over 2.9ypc Ingram, then its time to cut ties. If not, activate the man and let him get 5 carries a game at least.

He might have some potential and he is definitely nice to have when a starting RB goes down. Why the frick would we cut ties with him?

He hasnt shown that he can.

It is every preseason. And he fumbles every preseason.

Ryan Williams ARI 5games 58att 164yrds 2.8ypc
Jacquizz Rodgers ATL 6games 31att 77yrds 2.5ypc

He would have been a great pickup in the fifth round. Seeing that we all agree he is at best a short yardage back who can block. And I emphasize short yardage back.

Also keep in mind that 1st round picks aren't making what they once were 5-8 years ago. They aren't coming in and taking a huge chunk of cap space.

To say that he's "wasting a spot" on your team is absurd. Compared to most other RBs taken in the NFC South (J. Rodgers, etc), M.I. is actually doing pretty decent. Not a fantasy stud but c'mon...

So, when Ivory is activated and he runs for 2.3 YPC because the line isn't run blocking well, and he can only get about 5 carries a game because we don't run the ball at all, and he can't get into a rhythm because the coaches don't stick with one RB for more than one play at a time, then what?

is he asked to run into the arse of an O-lineman and then fall straight down on one-fourth of his carries? if so, he's doing a great job.

He lacks vision and balance. It's pretty evident.
