Got that covered #27 – CB Darqueze Dennard – Mich St or Justin Gilbert – Ok St or Jason Verrett TCU #59 – C Bryan Stork – FSU #91 – QB AJ McCarron – Alabama #123 – OT Seantrel Henderson – Miami #155 – ILB Max Bullough - Mich St. #187 – WR Josh Huff -Oregon

Dennard is a top 10-12 pick.

Stork is a 3rd or 4th rounder. Swanson is the center that has second round value and immediate starting potential.

No way we spend a 3rd rounder on McCarron. Gotta get a WR.

I like your other picks.

Watch some of the highlights of him throwing FSU DBs around at the LOS. Hell as a freshman he was tossing them like ragdolls.

is faster

We will see at the combine

He's faster, wait and see. He's also faster on the football field. Even if their times are close at the Combine Sammy's translates more to football speed than Julio's. Sammy's first two steps are insane, Desean Jackson-esque.

We all have opinions on Clowney, but watching your teammate go from a potential 1st round to a 4th round has got to be doing something to your psyche (considering he was entering '13 as arguably the best player in college).

Lattimore:
4th round - 4yr/2.46mil

Comparison of where he was supposed to go (mid-late 1st)
4yr/7-8mil

that's a 5-6mil potential loss if he were to get injured last year. Who knows, some freak injury ends his career and he loses millions. It is a big risk, but we're not sure what's going on in his mind after watching that happen to Lattimore.

When an uber-competitive coach like Urban Meyer decides it's more advantageous for his team to literally give Sammy Watkins a 10 yard catch every single play, there's not a more insane compliment you can give a player. I know Ohio State's secondary isn't elite, but you never saw him give that kind of respect to Julio or Green.

This is a HUGE understatement. Ohio St. was 110 out of 120 in pass defense this season. I wouldn't use that game as a huge selling point.

I do think Watkins is a good WR, but not worthy of a trade up.

He had the huge advantage this season of playing against only 3 top 50 pass defenses. In those games he had 257 yards and only 1 TD.

Like I said before, he also got to play against Ohio St. and Boston College (111th in pass D).

Are there any starting caliber Corners in the late 1st round? It seems like there are about 2 or 3 and they are all slated to be picked prior to the Saints pick.

This year you trade up to get Sammy Watkins.

Next year you draft Armani Cooper.

Verrett, Gilbert, or Roby could all be there

Dennard, Gilbert will most likely be gone prior to pick 27, so too will Verrett I believe.

I want no part of Roby, each time I saw him play he got scorched.

It was mainly an indictment of how good Meyer thinks Watkins is. Literally they had their DBs 15 yards off the ball and were willing to give-up 10 yard gains on every single catch as opposed to challenging Watkins.

I don't know if I've ever seen someone get that kind of respect before, especially not from someone as competitive as Meyer.

Dennard is no doubt gone. I think it's a toss up if Verrett or Gilbert is taken first. One may be available but it is not certain. Then you go BPA.

Sammy Watkins. Big plays just occur around him.

Whether he's faster than Julio Jones is immaterial (I think he is though) he's much quicker and accelerates faster, which is just as important.

But the real answer is Leonard Fournette. Don't blow your karmatic trade up load now. Wait 3 years. Make sure LF doesn't play football anywhere else but in Louisiana. Put it in the Constitution.

I really hope the Saints don't trade up.

But if they do, I hope it's only a couple spots to grab a great CB or WR who "fell".

And don't think other teams aren't thinking the same thing...point is, it would take a lot to move up, and I look at that as a desperation move by the Saints. Would they be willing to pull off something like that? I just don't think they would be willing to throw away additional draft picks...

I wouldn't mind if we trade up, as long as we don't waste the pick. I'd be ok for trading up for Sammy, but I think it'd be better if we stayed put.
