If Watson has an ACL tear or career ending injury, Cleveland is screwed for a decade

Props to them but that price is way too high. We dodged an absolute monstrosity of a bullet.

He already has a couple of those.

you could say that about most teams that make this trade

Yall said the same shite about Cousins contract.

No guts no glory. Good for the Browns.

Up until a few hours ago, the narrative was exactly the opposite. Posters had visions of multiple Lombardi trophies dancing in their heads.

I agree with you, but that contract is steep - it's a franchise killer for sure.
You give him stupid money to keep him (if you draft him) or you give up the draft capital to trade for him. You absolutely don't both, it's literally an all-in move.

Not it wasnt.. i looked today and did a rough count.. over the last 20yrs the browns have star5ed 29 different qbs i believe. How many wasted first round picks on qbs? How much money wasted on qbs. What they gave is nowhere near too much. There are several teams that have wasted tons of first rd picks and salaries on qbs over the last 10-20 yrs. Jets, skins, jags, fins, bengals, etc. A true franchise qb is hard to come by.. and when you have a chance to get a young one like watson, or russ.. you give whatever it takes

if they are a solid club for the next 3 years then those 1st round picks won't sting as much not having them (#20-32).
their defense is salty enough I think, and they did just trade for Amari Cooper.
that should have been a tell.
now if he sits for a good while I do think that will be something.
he already didn't play a down last season.
I'm 50/50 on us not getting him.
I'm not nearly as ticked as I thought i might be.
i guess the way it all went down had something to do with it.
he wanted too much money I guess.

Cleveland has been screwed for every decade. Lmao. They’re on their 32nd qb since 2000.

Browns got desperate because of Joe so they made this ridiculous deal
