I’m honestly completely fine if we don’t get him for this reason. I think we’re still in a good place with Winston at the helm. The potential with Watson though is exciting

Bring in Winston, sign a decent WR, work on OL and secondary depth. Draft BPA, with an emphasis on pass catchers/weapons.

If this drags out, we miss on Watson and Winston signs with Indy we will forced to do what? That's what I don't want. Guess we would draft a QB and have him compete with Taysom?

What. Very doubtful, he will almost certainly be fine for camp.
Also, I could very much see the Saints moving up either this year or next for a QB.

That kinda of where I am Watson or sell out for Malik in draft. Is it a gamble? Yep but he by far has the highest ceiling of all the QBs in this draft.
