Like Philly uses. Not a high draft pick of course. I keep hearing the term Violent Runner. Does anyone agree?

Just sign someone like Travaris Cadet, don't waste a pick on that guy

Pretty sure I have more broken tackles in my NFL career than cadet does

No thanks

why the frick would we use a draft pick on a RB when we just had the most productive RB duo in NFL history?

I think Trey Edmunds is pretty good...he's alot more potential than people give him credit for. I think he'll do well

Kamara makes Cadet useless to us.

There's no guarantee that we re-sign Ingram next year. We're going to need a 3rd guy if Ingram or Kamara gets injured as well. I sure as hell don't want to spend a high draft pick on a RB (or a decent size F.A. contract), but I wouldn't complain if we drafted one in the mid-late rounds. Maybe even a cheap vet F.A.

It would be nice if Lasco, Edmunds, or Jonathan Williams becomes a viable #3 RB next year. None of them have proven anything though. We're basically 1 injury away from having to give a subpar RB carries.

We need a punt/kick returner. I’d like for it to be our 3rd RB. If that’s a late draft pick, I’m ok with it. Maybe Martez Carter or Nyheim Hines in the later rounds.

OP suggested we get a ‘violent runner’, and you suggest travaris cadet?

That's actually not a bad idea if the price is right. Not sure what kind of money he'll be commanding though.

can't be much being benched for a rookie. 2.5 mill? unless someone is really desperate and will pay him 4 mill to start

Hill was definitely someone Payton was looking at drafting, and he has in the past gone after a few guys in FA he missed on in the draft.

I don't think you can spend more than $3 mil on him though, so if he's asking for that or someone overpays then no. Maybe an incentive deal based on yards would be a good compromise.

I wouldn't mind Ito Smith in the 6th or 7th. The kid was a stud at Southern Miss.

if Peterson would of sat here and kept his entitled arse shut, he could have been the 3rd serviceable backup. Now his old arse wanted to be a bellcow again and what happened, got hurt as usual.

Draft darrell williams in the 4th perfect 3rd back can pound the rock like ingram! Also is versatile like kamara we wont miss a beat if we have to sit ingram or kamara!

Cause our offense couldn’t function when Kamara got hurt?
