I think 80% of our issues can be tied to the Offensive Line....

The line is often just a patchwork at best.

Today we started Hurst who has been a career backup, because our 1st round pick cannot be trusted at LT.

Ram is not the player that he was.

We ended the game with

Penning
Saldiveri
McCoy
Garcia
Ruiz---Playing RT

So only McCoy started the game at his position.

Most do not realize how much difference there is to this offense between a 2nd and 7 and a 2nd and 6 or 5.

I agree, and I don't know how we get out of it. All of the main guys are basically locked up long term.

I just hope this isn't the beginning of us having to shuffle out a different starting group each week.

I mean we're going to have to against Jacksonville on Thursday because of the short week most likely.

This is a problem that the Saints have had the last two years and I know I've done my fair share of bitching about it.

We have been in Cap Hell because of Loomis and them kicking the can down the road.

Hopefully this is one area that they can spend some money on next year.

Also we know they will not take a a QB, so I would actually like to use the Saints pick and/pr the Broncos 2nd round pick to take an OL Player.

McCoy - 48th overall
Penning - 19th overall
Ruiz - 24th overall
Ram - 32nd overall
Andrus Peat - 13th overall

Our problem isnt the talent on the O-line. Its the dogshit QB play that makes everyone look bad.

Carr sucks bad.

Playcalling doesn’t help. I’m sorry, but you can’t keep calling screens on third-and-4. I’m so fricking tired of watching plays run short of the sticks when you need 5 yards or less. That’s a philosophy, not just a call that’s made because the line sucks.

I’m also tired of plays called where the obvious desired result is to get close enough for a field goal. Even if we had Justin Tucker, it’s a loser mentality that’s been prevalent for two years now being practiced by two losers, Allen and Carmichael.

You are retarded if you couldn’t see that he was under duress immediately after the snap CONSISTENTLY. It was mentioned numerous times by Stink on the broadcast.

Does Carr need to play better? Absofrickinlutely…….but he’s not even close to the biggest problem. The line and the scheme are hot garbage

I wonder if he thinks that defenders were in the backfield all day hitting Kamara because of the QB play as well……..I guess Carr wasn’t blocking well enough lol

There was one play where it was 3rd and 2 and we handed off and then started pulling guards and moving people around when we should have run in a tight formation.

The end result was Kamara got 2.1 yards and barely got the 1st down, but 4 Texans were on the Saints side of the line when he got the handoff.

The OL was retreating like a draw or pass play .

This.

I’m watching these other games and the QBs have clean pockets all day to throw. It reminds me of these same fans talking trash about Brees 7 or 8 years ago.

I hope that you are correct. If so, then improving the O Line just a bit may well be enough to win the Division.

The team MUST improve somehow, beginning now.
