A good friend of mine is a reporter at the Mobile Press Register and apparently he has some damning evidence that Nick Fairley received cash after the Auburn-UGA game in which he took repeated cheap shots at Aaron Murray. I mean don't get me wrong I think Fairley is a bad arse but how awful is that?

Maybe Shockey will turn in the Giants and anyone else that spurns him?

hmmmmm

but back to the OP:

You will have to pray for bounty programs that we're told to stop and didn't for it to make a difference

this penalty is all about the cover-up/payton pissing on goddell's shoes and telling him it's raining.....not about the actual bounty

Hey fricknut, The NFL LO sent out a couple of memos to everyteam in the league telling them to stop bounty programs and that they have no place in the NFL. Every team that has one is currently hiding it from the NFL.

WE got fricked because WE had some piece of shite NARC go cry to Goodell with evidence.

Lesson learned: Kill the snitches.

As long as the punishment stays the same across the board who cares? Cheating is cheating, lying is lying and the Saints got caught doing both. Legal actions could still take place. It was dirty it is serious I see no issue with the hammer coming down.

Coming from an Eagles fan, well...you're a complete and absolutely hypocritical IDIOT!

and then denying it again after being told we're looking at it..............again

Me neither if the NFL launches a full investigation of every team (especially because some have admited to having bounty programs) and enforces the same sanctions on them. This scapegoat message sending thing is bullshite. You know who sends brutal extreme messages to people? Warlords and dictators.

Mark May is a liar! This shite has gone on for decades. You're probably too young to remember the Eagles and Oilers during the 1980's.

Many players have stated that they were aware of bounties in the past.

No its not. The league said stop. NO one did. The Saints got caught and scapegoated. Goodell should launch an investigation of every team that has admitted this is common practice and punish each of them as extreme. That way he is sending a message about bounties.

Thing is, Fairley is aware of this and has offered to pay him off. I'm pretty sure he will take it, he doesn't have a lot of money anyway.

Yep. I can't believe they shrugged it off like it was no big deal, especially since Goodell has been on a power trip since he took over and loves making examples out of everyone.

Just wait until the defensive players on the saints teams are punished! They will get pissed and squeal on every team they ever played for. Loomis, Williams and Payton have been told to shut the f up and toe the NFL line or never work again. The players will be another matter!

Let me guess, this friend of yours is the bagman? Remind me how this even remotely compares to what the Ssints did? Then tell me why your "friend" has no proof and there are no charges?

Honestly, man, I think it just gives Goodell moral high ground to bring the hammer down if others come out of the woodworks.

I LOOOOOVE the Saints, but I can't rhyme or reason the two years of lying after the man said, "I know what you are up to. Knock it off."

No but he is going to get paid by Fairley to not say anything.

It doesn't, I just figured I would annoy you some since your over hear trolling this board. I don't have a problem with Auburn or their fans that post here, hell, I have plenty of friends who are Auburn alumni and are big time fans. So I'll leave them out of it

But the Saints totally kicked the Vikings arse up and down the field the last three times they played and now you come around whining about a game from 2 years ago They turned the ball over five times, they didn't deserve to win. You wanna blame someone, blame AP and is trusty ole grip on the ball. How about that twelve men in the huddle penalty before Favre threw that last pick? And of course how could you leave out that crazy ole gun slinger Brett Favre with all his picks. You can complain all you want but it will do you no good.
