I've come up with a huge X factor that has yet to be discussed.

Last year Kluwe couldn't keep the punts away from Reggie for some reason and we all remember the results....

Next Sunday I'm thinking Chilly will have him so gunshy of kicking to Reggie that we'll get some nice field position on out of bounds punts.

Probably reminiscent of the game @ Philly this year when Sav Rocca kept shanking 25 and 35 yarders out of bounds and it completely changed the complexion of the game.

So you heard it here first folks - Reggie + past history + Chilly's propensity to overreact will equal great Saints field position time and time again.

this formula isn't quite as lofty as the SFP victory formula.

I wonder if Adrian Petersons hands are still the strongest in the history of man

I believe that was the reason given why Peterson didn't fumble last year

Vikings Wary of Bush on Punt Returns as Alejandro Predicted - Profootballtalk.com

R.Bush.jpgReggie Bush's big day against the Cardinals felt like a coming out party, but it's easy to forget he's had other big moments as a pro.

As our good friend AlejandroInHouston pointed out via email, one memorable performance came last season against the Vikings on Monday Night Football. Bush returned two second half punts for touchdowns and had seven catches. Brad Childress was furious at the time that punter Chris Kluwe didn't punt the ball out of bounds last year.

"If he can't do that, I will find somebody who can kick the ball out of bounds," Childress said.

Kluwe stuck around and Childress managed to smile when the incident was brought up this week.

"I think that we will go back and revisit our last trip we had to the dome and probably have a little sit down about that to see if either one of us has evolved in our processes in communicating that," Childress said.

That doesn't mean the Vikings will necessarily punt away from Bush this time. Their coverage units have improved from abysmal to solid.

"Obviously we had a history with Bush last year, but we're a different unit than we were last year, too," kicker Ryan Longwell said. "A lot quicker. Guys take a lot more pride in what they're doing and it shows."

In a game full of great storylines, we'll be watching to see if Bush or Percy Harvin (on kickoffs) can break a long return.
