I’d probably stop watching the Saints. What’s the point of not having a home team to root for? I’d tune in for interesting games and that would be it.

They just invested 500 million in Superdome renovations, they didn't do that to attract Taylor Swift every few years. Saints aren't moving.

This means nothing. It’s pretty much the smallest market other than greenbay.

Gayle is 75 and not getting younger. She’s not going to be the owner forever.

I don’t think the saints are moving anytime soon but it can happen.

You could also have another Katrina event.

Obviously hopefully with the levee protection system that will never happen again, but I agree. The only way the Saints ever leave is if there's another Katrina style even that just makes the city uninhabitable.

If it wasn't for the negative publicity. the Saints would've been moved to San Antonio. Tom Benson wanted to do just that after Katrina.

As for my fandom, the Saints are my diehard team unfortunately. If the Saints were to leave New Orleans, my fandom wouldn't follow it. I'm not going to cheer for some random city just because they now have the franchise.

While I don't really follow them a lot, living in Florida for 16 years I would say the Dolphins are the closet thing I would have to a second team. We don't play the Dolphins often, Hard Rock Stadium is a fun stadium, the Saints have great history in Miami with the Super Bowl win and Miami is a fun city to go to for games.

Living in Central Florida the Bucs are of course the closet team. But there's no way in hell I could ever cheer for them. Too much history being division rivals and I've seen how their fan base acts at times (conveniently forgetting they were one of the worst teams in the NFL from 2005 - 2019). The Jags, I just don't care for them. Plus with the Jags there will always be the London threat until London gets a team. And even when EverBank Field is fully renovated, it's still Jacksonville. Jacksonville might literally have the worst downtown of a semi-major city (over 1 million people) in the U.S. Even the Jacksonville Landing ended up closing. Jacksonville outside of Ponte Vedra Beach and St. Augustine to the south is nothing special.

So if the Saints ever did move, it would probably be the Dolphins for me. Though it would never match my Saints fandom.

I would quit watching the NFL entirely

Honestly, I don’t think it would be much to give up at this point

Hell no.
That would be worse than the Utah Jazz.

I would no longer follow the NFL. The Saints and keeping tabs on former LSU players is the only reason I pay attention now.

I’d root for the Bills. I’ve adopted them as my second team behind the Saints because my wife and BIL are diehard bills fans and they support the Saints.

I’ve been a fan of the New Orleans Saints for 45 years. If they move I’m done.
