I could see yall taking the Panthers game in 2 weeks. Something is amiss this year with them. Why the hell they stuck to single coverage on Julio this past week was shocking to me. When Atlanta opened up the game with 3 straight passes to Julio because you were single covering him, and you don't make any adjustments at all, something is missing. I think Drew could have a field day. Depending on which Cam shows up, I think yall split.

All those games are winnable.

But from the first quarter of the season I can only think any win will be very appreciated.

Not saying we'll win, but you don't think the Panthers game is "winnable"? Bugs game is winnable home and away.

Why?

We're winning 9 more and sneaking into the playoffs as the team nobody wants to play in the first round.

Book it.

I'll say 6 more wins. I think that's a pretty conservative guess. Who knows though, we could go on a run once we finally get healthy.

7-9 the last 2 years at home, its like people are still acting like we have some kind of advantage at home. Carolina's offense is still potent, id be shocked if we beat them at home, regardless of how bad their D is playing right now.

As far as Tampa, I dont see how anyone has confidence we can sweep any team in our division. We split with tampa at best.

I mean we were neck and neck with them last year too, once without Brees. They're offense is potent? Ours isn't? They have major offensive issues upfront.

They're going to be coming off a short week, on the road while we're coming off a bye.

In no way is that game unwinnable. Can we lose it? Certainly. We can also win it.

it

Having confidence that we'll sweep and calling a game unwinnable are 2 different things.

Wouldn't surprise me one bit to see them beat Denver
They better learn how to pass protect and play defense. Denver is going to hit them right in the mouth.

Just remember what they have done lately...

Jameis Winston: 17/35, 179 yards, 0 TD, 2 INT, 5 sacks

TOTAL: 3 touchdowns passing, 8 interceptions, 27 sacks...in 6 games.

I see New Orleans having one chance. They have to establish a running game, display a short, quick passing game and force turnovers. But they have to do all of that.

So they're both winnable against Tampa, got it

take it literal if you must. The question was how many more games do we win. I dont think we beat Tampa twice. Im just guessing we take the home game against them, even though they did beat us at home last year.

So what you're saying is every game is winnable? ok guy.

You can use your own definition of winnable. I'll use mine. That isnt a winnable game for me.

Uh this is the NFL. That isn't an unfavorable matchup. That game is one we should win and may even be the favorites.

I didn't pick out Denver or Seattle. I picked out one against a bad team where we have plenty of advantages.

I'll just go by the actual definition.

We almost beat a much, much better Carolina team on the road with McCown last year. That's a winnable game using common sense.

and we swept atlanta last year, yet they pushed our shite in 2 weeks ago. I know the optimist in you wants to believe it, but it doesn't work like that.

you say, "can we win it? yes. Can we lose it, yes."

im picking us to lose it. It's not that hard to understand.

yea, its the NFL. We could win any game at any time. It doesnt mean i am going to call every game winnable. That is silly.

That wasn't the point. Atlanta got better and Carolina got much, much, much worse. They can't do the two most important things in football.

Nah, you went further than that.

Never change Lester. You're a genius.

It wouldn't be a surprise victory.

It is a pretty easily defined word. I can break it into parts if that helps.

I guess it's too difficult for you grasp.

Yea, that would be silly to use the definition correctly.

Bottom line:

Carolina can lose to any team in the NFL with the shots Cam is taking, their non existent pass rush, and their bad secondary. Factor in the way the NFL actually works with short weeks, and bye weeks = idiotic to say it it would be shocking. It's two bad football teams
