if Benson had moved the team to San Antonio or Los Angeles a few years ago like he wanted to and then the Saints win the Super Bowl this year?

His car would have been found Monday morning overturned in the Everglades.
ETA: with his arse in it, of course.

The Lombardi Trophy would have been stolen from San Antonio and mysteriously ended up in the French Quarter.

San Antonio was never going to happen for 2 reasons:
1) The AlamoDome is not up to NFL standards.
2) Jerry Jones has the whole state of Texas on Fox every Sunday. No way does he let an NFC team split his market share.
Believe me, Jones had too much power on the committee. That, plus the fact that San Antonio is 99% Cowboy country made this impossible.
Benson was using it as leverage. If he moved, it would have been to LA.

Nothing but a leverage move as well.
Tagliabue would have never let him move, pretty much no matter what. And not to LA.
Ironic thing is, this SB makes any such "threats" in the future, all that much more idle.
