Believe me, you've done a good deed.

You ought to see Clooney rear his head on the food board. You can imagine he doesn't drink Night Train Express.

I've only read a couple pages here but from the looks of things this guy already has his mind made up that brees doesn't play well in big games.... Discretely ignoring stats and trying to counter great objections to his theory with a couple more minor opinions. Drowning out the facts with opinion... Although he's not a complete dik about it he is in fact a troll... The flea flicker resulted in a touchdown FACT your opinion on how well it looked doesn't matter... Brees has 6 touchdowns in two playoff games leading to the super bowl FACT your opinion that he doesn't produce in big games is flawed... Brees has 0 interception in the playoffs before going into the superbowl FACT so your opinion that brees chokes in big games is flawed... Although you may not have said this word for word, you didn't have to everyone sees what ur doing here... No kindly GTFO before Peyton realizes you got off his lap long enough to stir shite up on a saints board

Wow. I've been posting on the Saints Talk board for 4 years, and I'm called a troll by a bunch of new people who just showed up this season. That's pretty funny.

What? That ball was not thrown well at all. Henderson made an incredible adjustment to catch it. Did you really not see that?

I saw the play several times, I don't think it was under thrown at all. Also I believe he threw it pretty much where he wanted to, he knows these receivers better than anyone. Now, on the other hand, he's is not God, as much as we love him, he's human and will make mistakes, He's playing against the greatest players in the world. He's a very good QB, a Great leader, and a winner

Look, I was being nice about this initially for the sake of facilitating a back and forth dialogue. But anyone who hasn't noticed that Brees has been less than sharp in the playoffs hasn't been watching the actual games. Most of his throws down the field have been off. He also easily could have had a few picks last week against Minnesota where he got lucky.

Now whether you accept that as evidence that he hasn't played well in big games is a different story. There's plenty of room for disagreement on that one.

i think its more of brees not making it look so easy as opposed to him looking bad sometimes. the most important thing is he doesnt turn the ball over in big situations.

I do find it quite hilarious myself. It's also pretty self-evident to many that since your seniority forthwith shouldn't be questioned and used as a proverbial conglomeration of knowledgeable apathies, that we should bow and show humility towards the almighty leader that is "clooneyisgod".

I beg to differ.

As evidenced by the overwhelming attendance to those who have presented focused and clear argumentative points to rebut your phantom argument, I do find it in horrid distaste that your rebuke does not take in question their simplicity.

Perhaps you should look into more conventional methods of time management, such as bowling, archery, or launching explosive projectiles towards one's retinas.

I'll take the "backpedal" technique as your own admittance of utter and complete failure to raise any type of valid point that is concise.

Nice posts on the food board, by the way.

So you now admit that, under false pretenses, you started an entire thread based around Drew Brees and purposefully "toned" it down for the underachieving and apparently "dumb" Saints Talk board. You also decided that it was in the best interest to not come with that focused approach, but instead try to keep it "civilized" for us village idiots. Congratulations on your perfect example of idiocy and ironically your lack of civility.

A few picks? How many? Two? Three? Four? Technically speaking, he could have thrown an interception on every pass he threw. This opinion is again contrived from a lesser mind that apparently does not understand the self. One could argue that the receiver was in the wrong position, the play call was not congruent to the situ at hand, the offensive line did not protect as long as it should have, etc. etc.

Come back for more, I'll be waiting.

I'm sorry clooneyisgod I didn't realize that because I didn't discuss the saints on AN LSU SITE that makes your more of a fan or more knowledgeable than I? Yes I am new to this particular site but I'm not going to stand here and compare dick sizes to see who is a greater fan (this type of behavior is usually left to the bandwagon boys) but once again you take everything someone says, leave out the facts and chose to respond to the only one sentence you can hide behind... It's pretty cowardly and evasive to be honest

You called me a troll. I've been posting on here since the 2005 season ended. The length of time I've been posting on here is relevant to that conversation. A conversation you started by the way.

What the hell are you talking about with this "once again" garbage? As far as I know, we've never posted in the same thread before now.

Brees did seem a little off (by his standards) in the Vikings game and when I watched replay, there were a few passes that, even though on target, were fluttering. As someone said earlier, Aikman speculated that Brees might be injured.

As for playing great in big games, I would have thought that his play against Arizone qualified as great. Admittedly, I don't recall the stats, but he seemed pretty sharp to me that game.

"Once again" as in once again YOU have responded to ANOTHER POSTER on this thread in this manner... I'm merely pointing out your evasive responses to everyone on here. Not just one particular line... But since you've proved me right again I find it necessary to say "once again" your trying to persuade the convo to distract everyone from your inevidable humiliation that is ignorance
