How easy is it to get Saints tickets the day of games?

I live relatively close to the dome, but can’t afford season tickets. I’ll definitely want to make at least a couple games here and there. Are Saints games like LSU games in the fact that tickets can often be found by legit scalpers an hour before kickoff or should I go only through a specific app to get legit tickets?

I can't answer this question directly but I'll tell you that a lot of venues have gone exclusively to digital tickets after the pandemic.

1) They should be readily available especially about 1 hour before kickoff online. All tickets are online now so services like seatgeek and ticketmaster will have tons listed at different prices.
2) I wouldn't trust paper tickets on the road now...Same reason tickets have a bar code that can be transferred so once that code is entered into the system the paper tickets are then worthless and you would not know it until you reached the gate.

Yeah it would be very difficult for me to ever trust a paper ticket purchased from a random person ever again.

Very easy. Just go on stub hub.

So someone who is looking for a ticket right before the game can’t just buy one from somebody in person anymore? You have to use your phone? That kinda sucks if you’re not big into smartphone purchases or don’t use one regularly.

Stubhub. By 10 on game day of a 12 kickoff you’re set

I don’t think Saints or Pelicans will even distribute paper tickets going forward.
But even if they did, you can’t really trust a random scalper guy on the street anymore since those tickets could have already been uploaded online with bar code changed and now rendered worthless.
Those street guys are going to have to find a new line of work.

With our QB situation, you’ll probably be able to score some cheap tickets after the fourth or fifth game.

When they get rid of paper tickets what will the gangs of black men with I need ticket signs do?

The franchises love having control over the ticket accounts, even second-handedly through StubHub, etc.
The information they get from knowing who is actually using the accounts for marketing, renewals, and security is really valuable to them.

If they catch a pattern of you transferring tickets to non-Saints fans, that account goes poof

As a season ticket holder, I hate this. I’ve been saving ticket and concert stubs my whole life. I like to write the score and any meaningful stats on the stubs

Sell LSU apparel and merch like they do at Mardi Gras!
