How can anyone on that defense look Brees in the eyes?

After that loss, and again letting the GOAT down, as they have done consistently in his career in New Orleans, Brees deserves every dollar he has made in that fat contract.
These clowns are the ones making too much. The inconsistencies, horrible technique on defense, penalty ridden defense can eat a bag. Almost cost them against Carolina, and this week it finally caught up to them.
Payton keeps saying we have to clean it up. Well, you aren't doing it.

Need to put Teddy in and bench Brees. It motivates them to play at a higher level. They think because Brees is in they can take their foot off the gas.
Best to send Brees packing at the end of this season then maybe you'll see real effort from both sides of the ball when they know the QB isn't as good.

Can’t blame them too much. It’s the rules put in place by the nfl that makes it impossible to play defense. San Fran has the best defense and barely did better than us.

Like I said, put Teddy in bench Brees then maybe they can return back to being good on defense.

Brees needs to realize that the defense will let him down every time. He should've told all his receivers that if they can score to go down at the 1 or 2 yard line. Brees needs to know that he can leave any time left on the clock for the defense to lose the game.

It’s too bad that Payton took Brees out on 1st and 3rd down during our 5th drive after he had led us to TDs on our first 4 drives.
