If you were a QB, who would you want coaching you? Sean McKay who knows how to coach QBs or Pete Carmichael who will get him killed?

This shouldn’t be a reason to pass on a QB, but this staff would 100% screw up the eval and pass on him or try to force him into something he isn’t

He is a one read and run qb.
He’ll get killed trying to do that in the NFL

I’m not asking you Mr. Daniels. I’m asking Gayle and Mickey

You’re an idiot dude. But thanks for your input

How big was lamar coming into the league

I think you would want Nix,Penix or Travis before Daniels. Daniels would have to change his whole game to play as a rookie and curb his enthusiasm for running because it WILL get him killed with this OL.

Why? Please just tell me why?

Well some would absolutely agree…..
See Portland in Jordan’s draft
See also tons of teams who passed on Brady

Look I’m just saying I got this one right. Dudes 6’4 and quick with a great arm THAT HAS INCREDIBLE TOUCH. Yu think Bryce Young is better than JD5?

This is the worst thread ever. This dude suddenly thought he had an original thought

JD is not going to go in the top half of the first round
I'm not so sure about that. After last season, I'd say he was a 2nd round pick. This year, he really turned it on and his passing has greatly improved. More importantly, he's not playing scared and letting it fly. Anthony Richardson went high so I see no reason JD wouldn't either as he's actually shown winning football in college.

He’s not at all a one read and run QB. He does a good job of going through his progressions, hell he did good with that last year.

My God we could use Daniels RIGHT FUKIN NOW!!!!!!!

Posted on 11/12/23 at 2:59 pm to TommyDaTiger
He won’t be running like this against NFL talent or he will have a very short career.
Saying that I’d
still take him over Sanders and Caleb in a Heartbeat.

I appreciate Daniels and he probably will make a good pro. But so much of Daniel's game is predicated on his running ability on top of his passing. I'm afraid that given this OL he will break one, head out of bounds and become the next Randall Cunningham rehabbing a knee injury for a year.
I'd rather the Saints concentrate on the OL via the draft before wasting a 1st round on a high end QB....now if he fell to the 2nd round, I would probably pull the trigger....unless there was another big time OL on the board.
