Well I'm sure glad we aren't setting unrealistic expectations on the rookie 5th rd pick that only split reps with 1s in camp and now his only week as starter in practice is limited to glorified walk throughs because of so many injuries, namely 3/5 o-line starters. sarcasm font [off]
Hope he makes some plays & doesn't have deer in head lights look. And if/when he throws a bad rookie pass or even INT, just remember the $25M/yr & 12yr starting QB Derek Carr threw one of the worst boneheaded INTs just last week off his backfoot while panicking.
I hope Kubiak rises to this challenge and gets a good tempo & gameplan together for him that utilizes the TEs & Kamara more in the short passing game
