Fans need to get over their infatuation with the Honey Badger. He is not even close to being the same player he was before the injury. Plus with Coleman being signed there is no need for another safety. Especially at the cost TM7 will demand

He left because he didn't want to take a pay cut. This isn't happening.

we play 3 safety sets a majority of the time. I'm not taking Marcus off the field.

Just seems like a ton of money to pay a third safety when it seems like your other two are about set. Especially to a guy with two major knee injuries. If he’d somehow want to come here for less I’d be thrilled.

shite Vaccaro did vastly better than that even while hurt last year. Smh.

can't trade Coleman who you just signed.

This ain’t the NBA, as long they are under contract they can be traded at any time. Pretty sure I’ve never heard of a timeframe that you have to have a player under contract...

My original idea was just a touch sarcastic too...

99/100 if you trade a player you just signed to a 3+ year deal you will lose cap space. He's untradable.

You can't trade him because we would owe all his guaranteed money immediately.

And also, no FA would sign with you if you turn around and trade them two weeks after signing them.

That's concerning. I think Vaccaro sucks and those numbers don't look like an improvement.

Maybe the injuries have taken their toll.

Vaccaro never did that poorly in the slot even when that was the case with us. He was a damn solid slot corner and great in the box.

Yes, I understand the implications of trading him. However, the comment said it can’t be done. Can’t and won’t have 2 different meanings....

Secondly it was sarcasm, aimed at the ranters that constantly say Saints hates LSU players.

Vacarro was good enough. The D went downhill when Okafor went down. That is what we need. Him healthy and replacement feom the draft
