His Heel Hit First. Why doesn't that count?

You could clearly see the heel hit before the toe went out of bounds. Has the rule changed? Does it have to be the whole foot? Receivers can drag their toes and it be in. Why can't our heel hit first in bounds and then your toe go out of bounds?

That used to be allowed. What happened?

Because both feet need to be in bounds and one of them was out of bounds, regardless of the heel being in bounds.

Why is a heel different than a toe?

If your toe hits in bounds then your heel goes out, it's incomplete too.

It's not if the reciever is falling backwards and then he puts his heel down after his toes. They would called it out. It was the correct call. The forward toe drag is something that is part of the game. It might due to the fact that another body part hits out of bounds before the rest of the foot on drag plays.

I'm not sure that's true. Let's assume you only tap your second toe and the whole foot never comes down and you're shoved out. The rest of your foot actually does come down out of bounds doesn't it? It just does it further away from the out-of-bounds mark

If he could hippie heel, it would be a TD per the rules.

So you got 2 feet down in bounds with no part of the foot out of bounds.

That's a separate occurrence of the foot being down. That's like saying his foot is down out of bounds after he walks to the side line.

This isnt true. Ive seen many receivers catch balls along sidelines while dragging their toe.

It is true. You can toe tap and go out but if your entire foot comes down and any part is touching out of bounds than it is not a catch
