Payton and Rams have mutual interest now. You'd have to think there's too much smoke now to just not have him going to LA.

Mutual interest can mean "hey will you listen to an offer for Payton" saints: "sure but we will tell you no"
Or the Saints make some absurd offer they know will be turned down or the Rams would be stupid to accept. I.e. Ricky Williams draft day trade.
That would be reported as mutual interest.

Explain to me why he'd leave 100% autonomy and job security and Drew Brees to go to the LA Rams.
Explain that to me.

Why would he? I agree that it doesn't make sense but Payton has done a lot of stupid over the recent years so it wouldn't surprise me.
Might be for the best for him to go if we are going to listen to this after every year. Might be time for a good cleansing and also get rid of the '06 bandwagonners that have infiltrated the dome and surround me. I almost hate going now because of these people and I've only missed 6 home games which I can name easily in 28 years starting at two years old.

I'll take a 1st and 2nd rounder for Payton. Let Pete call O and bring in somebody who is not a diva at the HC position.

If this is smoke, last year was a full on forest fire

Your crazy, you will take a 1st and a 2nd rounder for him?
The Bucs gave up 2 number 1's for Jon Gruden.
If the Rams want Payton you tell them that the discussion begins with 2 number 1's.

And the problem is...they don't have 2 firsts! They traded them away
In addition, at NO point in this article does crap sheet cite a source. Just throws shite at wall like always

So, what your saying is, two years' worth of this means nothing?
Sure, retard.

From the NFL.com article:
"Payton is also owed $40 million by the Saints, and they could decide to let him go because that's an incredible price tag for a coach who last went to the playoffs in 2013 and won a Super Bowl in 2009."
$40 million?
Let's dangle that kind of coin out on the coaching market and see who shows interest.
7-9,7-9 and 7-9/8-8 with a first ballot HOF QB in his prime.
SMDH
PS: Loomis is part of the problem as well. Until Benson dies, this won't get better.
