i guess the no call on the grounding in end zone was a good call?

Do I thik that should be a flag? Not in the slightest.

Is it consistent with everything that's been called the last couple years? Absolutely.

It might of well have been -3.

You're correct. But the call was also.

I guess that guy also thinks that the horse collar rule has also killed the game.

You know, because the center piece of football is horse collar and clothesline tackles. Without such tackling techniques, we're left with nothing in the game.

I felt the problem with it was much more obvious when you consider the only thing he had a hold of on Drew when he finished the tackle was his helmet.

I don't give a crap whether it was a good call or not. That team has caught more breaks against the Saints in my 36 years of watching than you'd believe. The Jerry Rice fumble at the 2yd line TD is still not squared by this call. In fact, I wish it was a worse call.

On this slow-motion replay it looks to me like a legal hit. I know plenty will disagree and have disagreed, but this strikes me as a football play. It's not like a clear-cut clothesline at the neck or a blow to the head. This does not seem to me to be the kind of play these rules have been created to protect against.

He finishes the tackle by grabbing Brees by his head. It seems exactly what the rules are meant to protect.

The initial hit is debatable but he cleans it up by bringing him down by the head.
