I think this weekend would be a great opportunity for the Drew Brees’ and Sean Payton’s to get involved where they legally can.

I could definitely see Gayle and Mickey calling Brees and asking him to reach out. Brees is so well respected in the NFL. I’d be shocked if Brees hasn’t reached out already. So to answer your questions. Yes I believe it’s either happened or will happen.

Brees couldn't be reached in California when the Saints tried to call. He was busying investing in another pyramid scheme.

While having someone with Drew's stature talk to him would be great, I think someone like Joe Horn, Curtis Lofton, and I am sure there are a few I'm forgetting would go a longer way since they played for both teams.
