I think the team can win it all right now. Same with Denver

We have a top 5 offense and top 5 defense and no longer have a LT issue

We've gotten better this off season

Brees' production doesn't live up to that salary. Not even close. If he wants to make that much he should do better than 12/9 on the fricking road.

Y'all continue to make my point for me.

You seriously just said he wasn't the problem. But then you said, he is the problem but really he isn't because other people have problems.

he isn't the problem, but you just read over the part where people say who are.

Brees' 18 mil cap hit

or

grubbs' 9mil cap hit
bunkley's 6mil cap hit
hawthorne's 3.5mil cap hit

one is producing for his pay, 3 aren't.

Denver got slaughtered. And with this haul they got they moved ahead of us. You probably thought the game against Seattle was close.

Not winning? What in the frick are you talking about?

We had a winning record and WON A PLAYOFF GAME...something that hasn't happened that much in the history of the Saints. Not just a playoff game...a road playoff game. WHICH HAS NEVER HAPPENED in the history of the Saints.

So, we've been winning just fine, haven't we?

He's not a problem. His production is still ridiculous and on par with his contract.

Its players that grade out below their contract values. Seriously, do some fricking research.

lol now you're living in the early 2000s. Worrying about 1 playoff game. Against a Qb playing in his first. lol.

He should take a pay cut if he wants to win the super bowl. If he doesn't, then we aren't going to. If you believe otherwise then you're retarded.

I guarantee you if brees were a FA tomorrow he gets the same or more offered from tons of teams in about 5 minutes.

He threw for 5000 yards. How many people in the history of the league have done that?

I'll give you a hint: its happened 8 times. 4 of those 8 are Drew Brees, and he did it last year. His production is fine.

Wins/Road Wins is a TEAM issue.

actually this one is easy

Give me a QB in the past 3 years have averaged:
445/659 (67.5 completion %)
5271.7 yards
8.0 ypa
42.7 TD
15 INT

I'll wait.

You keep coming at me with Brees' stats. IDGAF if he had 10,000 yards. We won't win a Super Bowl while he makes that much.

For the 1 millionth time, what is your alternative.

SPECIFICALLY. Please list how the numbers effect the cap, specifically, and your SPECIFIC alternative.

If not, get the frick out.
