They were going to have to eat it/extend it without Carr. I get what you are saying about paying a qb nothing for one yr to try and get the books right but that wasn't going to happen.

They add dummy years to every contract on the roster.

Oh, when they gave Cam that deal, he was still producing at a high level. Everyone on here called it a deal, including me.
