Look at the lack of variation with our personnel packages and formations in the first half. And let's not ignore the playcalling both on offense and defense.
There was a lot of positive stuff in the first half, including but not limited to our second team offense scoring on their first team defense via a big play.
Anyone freaking out over this game is a fricking moron.

I haven't seen anyone on this board all out panic except.
The sky isn't falling for me either but...
1. FatBastard is right when talking about the lack of effort on the run. Our linemen got owned. Payton even said it post-game.

2. Yes we didn't blitz but no one is talking about our poor pass rushing in the game. He's talking about our lineman vs their lineman. Again we got owned.
3. Yes this is just preseason and it ought to motivate the Defense thoughout the rest of TC.
4. I enjoy this board and most of its posters. I believe some of your views are humorous and insightful. So I hope I have not upset you all by trying voice my views and learn from others. I know I don't have many posts (since thats how people determine if you're a "real fan" on this site) but I'd like to hang around if its ok with you guys.

There was a definite lack of effort in that game and it was obvious. I'm not worried, though, because Gdub is going to light a fire under their asses. I'd HATE to be a defensive player this week He's going to tear into them like never before after that performance. I'm surprised he didn't pop a blood vessel in that game.
